Boston South Station

South Station is the largest of three railroad stations in Boston Massachusetts.  It handles Amtrak passenger rail service departing for New York City, Philadelphia and Washington DC.

South Station is also the largest intercity bus station in Greater Boston.  There is an adjacent metro station (subway station) that shares the same name.

The elegant Neoclassical South Station building was inaugurated in 1899.  It features classical Ionic order columns.

South Station is located at the intersection of Summer Street and Atlantic Avenue in Boston USA.
