USS Constitution

The USS Constitution is America's oldest commissioned warship.  The vessel waged war against the British during the War of 1812 as well as conflicts in the Mediterranean Sea.

The ship is permanently docked in Charlestown, across the river from Boston USA.

Visitors can enjoy the USS Constitution museum and take a tour of the historic vessel.  Admission is free of charge.

The simplest way to visit the Constitution is to take a ferry boat from downtown Boston to Charleston.
